Our Warranty Promise

At Cullen Electric, we stand firmly behind the quality of our workmanship and the reliability of the electrical systems we install. That’s why we proudly provide an industry-leading 10-Year Installation Warranty — at no additional cost.


Our warranty is designed to give homeowners confidence, protection, and long-term peace of mind when investing in their electrical system. 


10-Year Installation Warranty

All electrical systems installed by Cullen Electric are guaranteed to be free from workmanship defects for ten (10) years from the date of installation.


This warranty covers installation workmanship related to:

  • Electrical wiring systems
  • Raceways and conduit
  • Termination enclosures
  • Connectors and other related installation components


If an installed system fails due to workmanship within the warranty period, Cullen Electric will repair or replace the affected wiring at our expense.


Manufacturer Warranties

Certain electrical components — such as fixtures, devices, and specialty parts — are covered under their own manufacturer's warranties.


When applicable:

  • The manufacturer’s warranty takes precedence over our installation warranty
  • Cullen Electric cannot guarantee the performance or lifespan of products made by third-party manufacturers


Examples of manufacturer-covered components include:

  • Light fixtures and lamps
  • Dimmers and switches
  • GFCI and AFCI outlets


If a component fails due to a manufacturing defect, it will be handled under the manufacturer’s warranty provided that:

  • The product is still within the manufacturer’s warranty period
  • The component was supplied by Cullen Electric 


What Is Not Covered

To ensure clear expectations, our installation warranty does not cover:

  • Materials or devices supplied by homeowners or third parties
  • Existing wiring, panels, breakers, or electrical systems not installed by Cullen Electric
  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper operation


Warranty coverage applies only to systems installed by Cullen Electric.


Transferable Warranty

Our 10-Year Installation Warranty is transferable for:

  • Service installations
  • Whole-house rewires

This means the warranty remains with the property — helping increase home value and providing reassurance to future homeowners. 


Warranty Voids & Exclusions

The warranty becomes null and void if:

  • Any service, repair, or modification is performed by a contractor other than Cullen Electric
  • Damage occurs due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
  • Acts of God
  • Severe weather
  • Floods or fires
  • Electrical surges
  • Failure of non-covered components

Cullen Electric reserves the right to modify warranty terms as permitted by law.
